Membership at Barbados Golf Club
Young persons as well as and mature adults are taking up the game of golf which is now enjoying a growing global trend in popularity and prime time television coverage. Young Barbadian players are learning this new sporting skill and enjoying the competition while mature players join friends and colleagues in regular competitive play and networking around this game that will extend fitness and social life well into their senior years.
Membership in the Barbados Golf Club opens up many benefits to golfers and also gives them a voice in the operation of the club. Benefits associated with annual membership:
- Unlimited golf (does not apply to Off Peak and Beginners memberships)
- Preferential tee time booking – members may book up to one week in advance
- Preferential cart rates
- Restaurant/bar credit facility
- 10% discount on restaurant and bar purchases
- 10% discount on merchandise at the pro shop

- Preferential entry fees for out exciting tournament calendar

There are several classes of membership that cater to the individual needs of players ranging from beginners through to retirees. The classes of membership include:
Full Membership: – Guarantees unlimited golf and a full list of benefits.
Shareholder BDS $5,462.50, non-shareholder BDS $6,037.50
Family Membership: – A 25% discount is granted on full membership fees for the second and subsequent family members.
Corporate Membership: - Corporations wishing to join three (3) or more members will receive a 25% discount on the third and additional memberships thereafter.
Beginners Membership: - This is a structured training programme that is delivered over the period of one year. A series of 12 lessons is given, followed by limited on course play and finally, unlimited golf in the final quarter of the year.

Off Peak Membership: - This class of membership permits play on Monday to Friday only, and play is restricted to available tee times between 7:00 - 11:00 and after 3:00 pm.

Membership with Golf Cart: - All classes of membership may purchase cart membership which entitles them to personal unlimited carts usage, but does not include or permit any other rider to have free use of the cart.
All fees are quoted in Barbados dollars (US$1 = BDS$2) and are VAT-inclusive.
